There's no point in making a Christmas Wishlist...
I wrote this on/before Dec. 1 so I’ve started on some items already.
• Universal Power Supply for my PC.
• Samsung LED 23” Display
• Portable HD Stalling this coz I’m waiting for the price drop. The recent HD inflation is a bummer.
• New speakers. God knows this is way overdue =))
• A proper video card so I can play more games!
• iPod portable charger. For my travelling plans...
The Blues: On Wanting to Be Alone Sometimes
My current state is agitation.
I’m annoyed at how I always, always let people do their own thang, but I can’t. It gets on my nerves how people think that my default state of being is waiting for them to come over and entertain them or be entertained by them. It may not seem like I have plans for the day (no hardcore hobbies and I don’t create anything) but watching Fringe...

Day 4: Your Views on Religion
Most people I know are a pretty godless lot, myself included, but if there’s anything that my mom has taught me, it is tolerance on something as sensitive as religion. A lot of godless or agnostic (or whatever fancy-schmancy name you want to label your spiritual inclinations) diss on believers with an air of smug superiority. I find it disgusting. What you do and how you treat people makes...

Fitness Tiem!
It’s the 1st of August and if you know me irl, you’d know that this marks the day I swore to the world that I’d get my ass up and running and try to eat healthier and lose weight. It’s not cool but I’m tired of feeling and looking like a fattie.
My very embarrassing STARTING STATS!
Neck: 11.75 inches Shoulder: 40.5 inches Right Bicep: 11.5 inches Waist:...

The crap that ends up on my face.
Just a little round-up of the stuff I put on my face. I recently got obsessed with interested in makeup and skincare, like only until about 2 months ago (LOL), so I only have a few no-nonsense products on my stash. These aren’t all of it though since I got lazy taking pictures. Some are out of focus since the f/1.8 lens does crazy bokeh. sorry lol

The Curl Chronicles
I stumbled upon thebeautydepartment.com and my god, isn’t that site just lovely? It’s filled with non-annoying beauty posts and even has a whole article dedicated to curly-haired people like me.
Having curly hair has been slightly frustrating due to the lack of products dedicated especially for girls with bouncy hair. I used and loved this underground conditioner by Sunsilk for curly...

William!
I bought a cute lil cactus today. His name’s William and I can’t figure out what species he is from.
His pot is in the middle of some hardcore pimping and he’s expected to grace my office workspace with his lovely presence next week. If anyone knows what his taxonomic classification is, please let me know. I think I need to be made aware of what he really is before I can take...

Onwards!
Traveled to the South with my boyfriend for our second-year anniversary. It was fun. We accidentally got off the wrong bus stop and ended up in Simala, which is home to a miraculous Mother Mary statue or something. It was around 10km away from our intended destination but what the hell. It was a great place to pull off this pose.
That’s me in all my fatness glory.
We then rode a tricycle...

Doctor Who? Molto Bene!
So I have been cooped up in my little hole the last few weeks, catching up on Doctor Who and falling completely mad over the series and over the Time Boy himself. I’ve been asking people over the course of my viewing if they’ve seen (or even know of) The Doctor, and one of the first and most annoying things they ask is if “he’s like House”. /facepalm
Well… he...

Dilbert
I’ve been spending most of my life at the office. That may sound so dull but I like my job and it buys me the books I want. I’m also at the 12th floor overlooking the eastern part of the city and if that ain’t cool then tell me what is.
View from my workspace. It’s really pretty and I love it. The scene makes each working day less droning.

On my love affair with books
So someone from a local forum is planning to sell his entire Sandman collection. I’m very attached to my books and I always feel sorry to hear someone selling/giving away their books not because they want to, but because they need to.
Just last month, I had an incredibly ridiculous idea to stop buying books because I did not have the space for them and the time to read them all. Then I got...
On Slave Mentality
“… a slave mentality which had been built into him by years of carrot-and-whip grading, a mule mentality which said, “If you don’t whip me, I won’t work.” He didn’t get whipped. He didn’t work.”

On "Just What You Like"
“What was behind this smug presumption that what pleased you was bad or at least unimportant in comparison to other things? …
Little children were trained not to do “just what they liked’ but … but what? … Of course! What others liked. And which others? Parents, teachers, supervisors, policemen, judges, officials, kings, dictators. All authorities.
When you are trained to despise “just what...

But of course.
I’m doing a silly Life Leveling Up Project. I don’t really know why but it’s most likely because I’m always so fucking bored and I don’t know what else to do. I also feel the need to accomplish something with hard work and with an ideal end in mind. My life is filled with a series of unfinished projects but if my new new project is my life, then it can never really be...
